Contemporary discussions about globalisation tend to emphasise its political and economic aspects. But the social and cultural changes globalisation is causing are pervasive, often unexamined, and, for that reason, all the more influential. It is also sometimes assumed that globalisation is simply about the export of Western values and products worldwide. This book considers in detail the key drivers of globalisation, its contemporary shape, and its implications for world mission.
